I’m delighted to find your blog. We’re in exactly the same place. I’ve contacted professors at two colleges I attended to ask for a bibliography on Chinese history books. I can get some of them through interlibrary loan. I got no response. So much for those alumni contributions. Could you send me titles and authors of a couple of good books. I will greatly appreciate it. It’s a later period but The Rape of Nanking is excellent in helping the dynamics of the Far East now. Thank you so much for putting in the time to share your journey.
